Earth Day 2024: Connect with Nature at Celtic Camping

As we honor Earth Day 2024, we at Celtic Camping are proud to reflect on our ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability and stewardship.

At Pwll Caerog Farm, around 100 acres of our land are dedicated to environmental habitat, featuring grasses, wildflowers, and arable field margins for wild bird feed and cover. An additional 50 acres are home to Celtic Camping, including camping grounds, bunkhouses, group accommodations, and event venues.

At Celtic Camping, we've long been advocates for sustainable tourism and responsible land management. We believe in finding a balance that allows us to operate as a successful business while minimising our ecological footprint. This means implementing eco-friendly practices throughout our operations including supporting local biodiversity across the farm.

In line with our commitment to environmental sustainability, we're thrilled to be part of the "2024 Wales by Trails" campaign by Visit Wales. This initiative invites adventurers to explore the stunning landscapes of Wales through an extensive network of trails. And what better way to experience the beauty of Wales than through the fabulous walks accessible from Celtic Camping?

Situated amidst the breathtaking scenery of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, our campsite offers direct access to the renowned Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. This iconic trail winds its way along the rugged coastline, offering panoramic views of the sea and the chance to encounter diverse wildlife. From leisurely strolls to challenging hikes, there's something for every outdoor enthusiast to enjoy.

In addition to our dedication to environmental conservation, Celtic Camping is committed to environmental education. We host school groups onsite, offering immersive team-building experiences that foster a deeper appreciation for nature and the local environment. Through hands-on activities and guided explorations with our onsite activity provider, we inspire the next generation of environmental stewards.
