Cancellation & Amendments to Camping Bookings:

• No refunds will be provided within 2 weeks of arrival. No refunds or discounts will be provided for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures. Any refunds provided will be at the discretion of the management and will be subjected to a £25 admin fee and any transaction fee charges. This also applies for bookings via an external agent. NB external agents have also taken 15% non-refundable commission from your deposit payment, so any requested refund within the timeframe will also be subjected to this. For bunkhouse bookings, no refund will be provided if cancellation is within 4 weeks of arrival unless the accommodation can be re-sold.

• Cancellations – in the first instance customers will be offered the ability to change their booking to an alternative date at no extra cost. NB if you have booked via an external booking agent then it will attract an admin fee. Celtic Camping are not liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event you are prevented from fulfilling your booking, as a result of circumstances beyond their control. Such circumstances shall include (but not be limited to) war, terrorism, riots or civil unrest, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics, health risks or such similar events (“Force Majeure”). We recommend that you have adequate holiday insurance in place to cover this.

• Prior to making a payment you must check that your details and the price of your booking are correct – if we find the price of your booking is incorrect you will be asked to pay the difference

Cancellation & Amendments to Accommodation Bookings:

• Accommodation bookings must pay 40% deposit at the time of making the booking with the balance paid at least 4 weeks prior to arrival. Any alteration to booked accommodation must be confirmed by both parties in writing.  If a booking is made more than 10 weeks ahead, we acknowledge that numbers of attendees can change, and allow for such changes to be made to attendee numbers of plus or minus 10%, without any changes to the ‘per person rate. Where a significant change is made (cancelling more than 10% of the group places) we are entitled to charge the following cancellation fees:

  Weeks before Commencement Date these charges will be applied:

  10+ weeks – 40% of deposit

  8-9 weeks – 60% of deposit

  4-7 weeks – 80% of deposit

  0-4 weeks – 100% of deposit

  The date of effective cancellation/amendment is calculated on the day that written notice was provided to Celtic Camping and Bunkhouse Accommodation. If the Celtic Camping & Bunkhouse Accommodation is forced to cancel a booking or make amendments due to their inability to provide the agreed services for a reason that does not fall under Force Majeure circumstances, then we must inform the customer as soon as practicably possible with suggested alternatives. Should these alternatives not be satisfactory then a refund will be paid.
